What is a TEEM Team? |
|
Our Theological Education for Emerging Ministries (TEEM) team was formed after we voted in January to pull them together to help us make an informed decision about New Creation’s participation in the program. TEEM is a program of theological education that prepares women and men theologically, academically and spiritually for ordained ministry in the ELCA. It is a program of the Western Mission Cluster, administered by Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, in active partnership with Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The team consists of Loretta Sahoo, Dana Dimas, and Bevlee Doran. They are anxious to hear from you about what you want to know to make that informed decision. They are working to summarize the TEEM Program, and to arrange various opportunities to learn more about the program and to get to know Cristina Beauchemin even better. Cristina has applied for the program, and the Bishop has approved her pursuit. The question you need to decide is do we want to participate with, and support, Cristina in her desire to become an ordained pastor. It is highly likely that this would result in a seamless transition at New Creation as Pastor Anne approaches her desire to retire. What do you think? The team wants to know what you think you need to know so you can decide! Let the team hear from you. Call them. Send them an email. Snag them after church. They are not going to make a recommendation…they exist only to equip you to make a decision.
